Donna-Maria Maynard, Professor of Psychology at the University of the West Indies is a registered Clinical Psychologist in Barbados, she trained in the UK before migrating to Barbados and completing a PhD at the UWI, Cave Hill. Donna has a background in Mental Health and Education having worked in both secondary and tertiary institutions, providingpsychological support services. She has over 20 years of university teaching and clinical supervision experience. She has published a number of scholarly articles on youth identity development, psychological assessment and psycho-educational issues affecting students and teachers. She is a Past President of the Barbados Society of Psychology.
