Continuing Education at CRCP2020+

CONTINUING EDUCATION @ CRCP2020+

The Association of Virgin Islands Psychologists (AVIP) is the co-sponsor with CRCP2020+ for the continuing education programs. AVIP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education programs. The Association of Virgin Islands Psychologists maintains responsibility for the program and its content. Full attendance is required. No partial credits given.

The continuing education program is provided through two distinct formats.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Five half day workshops take place on Tuesday, November 16th

Workshop 1:  Building Communities of Care: Disaster Mental Health
Workshop 2:  Community Based Participatory Action Research
Workshop 3:  Supervision ofEarly Career Psychologists
Workshop 4:  Role of Psychology in Advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Workshop 5:  Cultivating Growth and Healing Through Play Therapy

1. The Workshop fee is separate from the conference registration fee.
   CE credits are included in the workshop fees.
   Workshops are $70 per workshop for professionals / $40 for students, with a discount for signing up for both a morning and afternoon workshop.
2. Register for workshops on www.Conftool.org/crcp2020

• Four continuing education units are offered for each half day workshop.
• A workshop evaluation will be required for receipt of the Continuing Education certificate.
• Certificates will be emailed after the completion of the conference.

When attending a session for CE:

• Your name must be on the screen, not a device or a phone number.
• You must leave your video camera ON throughout the entire session. Monitors will provide reminders
• After the session you must complete a CE evaluation form

CRCP2020+ Conference

1. The keynote presentation and plenary sessions (5) are CE granting activities.
2. Each session will offer 1 CE unit.
3. There is no extra charge for these CEs. They are included in conference registration.
4. Evaluations must be completed in order to receive a certificate.
5. Certificates will be emailed after the completion of the conference.
